TMW gets into the summer spirit with Diageo and Schweppes campaign

TMW is launching a shopper marketing campaign for Diageo and Schweppes brands to kick start a summer of celebrations.

The campaign, which includes press, outdoor, in store and trade elements, showcases the ongoing relationship between Diageo's Pimm's and Gordon's spirits, and Schweppes Mixers and Schweppes Lemonade.

Building on and celebrating the premium brand's iconic British heritage, the work will focus on four key events in this year's social summer calendar, including The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The creative features images of the individual drinks set either side of the exclusive limited edition summer bottles, with images of the Union Jack in the background. One leads with the strapline: 'A spectacular summer without Pimm's and Schweppes there? It's just not British!'

The campaign will run alongside radio and PR elements.

Victoria White, head of shopper marketing at TMW comments: "Pimm's, Gordon's and Schweppes are all premium brands with a unique British heritage. During this special Jubilee year, their heritage makes them particularly relevant and the campaign demonstrates that they are the perfect accompaniment to any summer party."
